Jordan is a WINNER!

She might be quiet but Jordan is an achiever!

I would like to congratulate RNZP rider, Jordan Reed-Smythe (pictured above) regarding the Denise Crispe Memorial Scholarship. Denise Crispe was a good friend; and though the time has slipped by since she left us, I feel privileged to still work with her beloved Oscar via Tracey Parnwell and Tristan Thomas (pictured with Time 'l Tell aka Oscar) - and Sheryl Parnwell occasionally ha ha.

I know Denise would be thrilled to have Jordan as her scholarship recipient; as I can tell you from Jordie's trainer's point of view - Jordan always gives 110%! Crispe Family - many thanks for allowing this deserving young rider a chance to train both herself and her ponies over the next year.

Pictured is Jordan's young pony, Tia, a Morgan....a brand new combination. Seems somehow fitting for this fresh chapter - Denise Crispe Memorial Scholarship plus new beginnings for Jordan and her team too.

Work hard Jordan - we are all so proud of you. It is rewarding to witness you grow as a competent, competitive rider. Keep a smile on the dial

Lastly, well done to all who applied for this scholarship - it shows there is true dedication to the showhunter discipline out there....and riders are recognizing the foundation showhunter training principles put in place - for whatever the rider wishes to pursue in the future. Everyone please take time to thank the Crispe Family for their generous support of our sport and our young, emerging athletes. Good luck in the season you riders!

Congrats also goes to Jordan Reed-Smythe on the purchase of her green 4YO pony mare, called Tui's Tia Maria; bred by Tui Morgans. This photo was their first official outing and I look forward to working with them both in the future. How much fun will they have!!!
