I would like to sincerely congratulate my Reel New Zealand Productions' riders who rode with me at Farmlands Horse of the Year 2015 last week.
Every RNZP Position=Control™ Rider came home with a ribbon!!!
I have to say, hand on my heart, I am really proud of each and every one of you. Everyone gave 110% including all parents, families, supporters who were there at NZ's grand finale of the season…but who have also been there ringside >>> in the wind, the hail, the snow, the rain, the scorching sunshine day in and day out. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Special mention to my riders who came away with a National Showhunter HOY Title placing(s):
I saw many determined riders out there competing….some even their first HOY show; I saw victorious smiles and high fives and bright flashy ribbons; I saw some tears; I saw really good riding with heaps of improvement over past performances.I saw a lot of weary faces and some dirty joddies at the end of the week. Horse of the Year is not for the faint of heart – especially with a tropical cyclone thrown into the mix. You have ALL done really well to even qualify for HOY. Take away your experiences and turn them into positive lessons….and challenges and goals for next season. You are all champions in my book.
Give those superstar ponies and horses some time off now – they've earned it. Those of you that are hunting, woo hoo kick forward to your fences!
I will be in USA training all of May and early June. However, I will be running clinics all over NZ this winter.Come join me!
